Where can I get a battery powered fish filter?
I'm going out of town for a week and need to leave my fish but I want to get a battery powered filter in case the power went out, which could happen. I checked at Petsmart and they didn't have any. Does anyone know of where I can find one? Also I'm going to leave an automatic feeder for my fish and know where to find those.

I'd get the batter backup surge protector like for computers. I actually have one for my tank since I lose power all the time.
As for the automatic feeder ( you can get at any pet supply store) I'd make sure you test it first. I had one go spastic and pollute my tank. I came home to a disgusting tank that you could smell as soon as you walked in with a lone survivor out of 5.
Most fish can go a week with out food which is what i do with mine now, to no ill effect. I've even accidentally left the filter off for one vacation and no bad effects.
