please help with a birthday party problem!?
my daughter is having her 3rd bday party. i live in a strip of town homes- 10 units total. i'm throwing it in the backyard with a bouncey castle. I already have like 20 children attending. my problem is new families have recently moved into 3 units with a total of 7 children. I've met them once. Would it be mean not to invite them? i already have 20 kids and the bouncer only holds 10 at a time.
Invite them and monitor the bouncer. You will have to anyways since there are so many kids.
Think about how you would feel and how badly you would feel for your child if someone else had it in their backyard and they had to sit at the window and watch.
If you truly can't have them over during the party, is there any way you can ask them over for an hour or so after most of the visitors leave? Just tell them you'd love to include them but didn't plan for that many more kids and you'd want them to have a chance to play later.
