How can you tell if a hamster enjoys a hamster ball or not?
How do you know if your hamster really enjoys a hamster ball or not?
I'm afraid of my hamster being stressed out in his hamster ball without me knowing.
Like everyone said if they are running around in the ball then they are fine (as long as they are away from larger animals and anything that can stress them out). If they are rolling around in it and stop for a couple minutes they are just resting. Mine has a special corner she likes to go to and she'll just sit there for 5 minutes or so, clean herself, and just roll on.
What you can do is put the ball inside the cage when your hamster is active (in the early mornings or at night). And just see what they do. If they are curious about it and explore by going around it and in and out then they are fine with it. If they are scared of it then it'll probably stress them out.
