do i have to get liability insurance to run a bouncehouse business?
im thinking about buying a bouncehouse and renting it out. i do not have alot of money to start out with though so i would rather not get liability insurance if i dont need to. Can i not just put up a warning sign on the entrance of the inflatable stating "play at your own risk" and also, make the renter sign a liability waiver or something.
P.S.
if i must get liability insurance, how much would it run me?
Of course you need insurance! Signs and waivers will not protect you.
I have friends who tried this business a decade ago, they lost everything. Insurance was running them 30k a year when they started, I do not know about later. People only talk about their business when it is going good, you don't hear much when things start to sour.
