I was doing an obstacle course and jumped of the wall and landed on my ankle wrong did i sprain it?
Can it be sprained if its not bruised, and it hurts, but the pain is only when i try and run when i dont have my ankle brace on it, What can i do to make it heal faster or stop hurting?
Sounds like a sprain, and yes it can be sprained without a bruise. My son just went through that a week ago. You should have swelling and for that you need to put ice on it to reduce the swelling. 20 minutes of every hour for at least 24 hours, longer if it still hurts. Stay off of it with it elevated as much as possible also and you can take motrin or advil for the pain since they will help reduce inflammation. You should recover in a couple of weeks but completely in 4-6 weeks.
