anyone gotten sick from public swimming pool?
I just read that a 2 yr old died this past weekend from E. coli from a public swimming pool and my kids and i swim all the time in our apartments pool, and ive never heard of such a thing...guess there are things called' recreational water illness" that is scary......yes our apartment do treat the pools, but have you ever gotten sick or is this little toddler dying a freak thing?
I never got anything worse than swimmer's ear. If a pool is properly chlorinated and maintained, bacteria shouldn't be able to live in it, but some are better maintained than others.
