Hi~ I need to do reserach on the Kite Runner, can people tell me the 4 elements of this book? which are the setting, character, theme and plot please?

The setting changes throughout the book. It begins in Afghanistan but it ends in America.
Characters, well, there's a bunch. Baba, Hassan, and Amir would be the main ones. Hassan is Amir's servant (and his half brother, you find that out at the very end), Baba is Amir's father.
The theme of the book is forgiveness, I would say. Learning to forgive yourself.
The plot is complicated. Amir is a higher class then his servant Hassan, and they go through a lot of trials. Hassan gets raped, for example, and Amir does nothing. Amir feels bad for not doing anything and makes it look like Hassan stole valuables from him. Hassan, offended, leaves with his father. Amir and his father leave Afghanistan because of the war going on and go to America. Years later Amir is plagued by his guilt about Hassan still and receives a call from old friends in Afghanistan that he is needed over there. He finds out that Hassan was shot but he is given the chance to rescue Hassan's son, whom he brings to America and adopts. For a more detailed plot summary, I suggest wikipedia because they do a good job, that was just a quick over view.
