What kind of outdoor 'toy' would a 17-20 month old enjoy?
Surely not a sandbox, right?
What about a water table? A playhouse? I want to get her something for the outdoors. 
A playhouse for sure!!! oh and a small pool is a must 
that is/was zachs all time favorite outdoor activity
We got my son a sandbox for his 2nd bday and it was a huge hit. Does she have the toddler swing outside yet? We bought Zach one at 13-14 mos and hooked it onto our porch and he had soo much fun with it.
EDIT--okay so i keep coming back to this so i am just going to list all the things zach loves outside to play with so far.
*sandbox
*small splash pool
*swing attached to porch--however i am getting him a wooden swingset this year
*playhouse
*The playcare that is like the flintstone vehicle that you drive around with your feet but is orange and yellow
*a wagon
