Shot Bouncer
Why do so many bouncers in America get themselves shot?
I notice that a lot of bouncers at bars and clubs in America get themselves shot. When I lived in England, bouncers never got shot.
Why do American bouncers choose to get themselves shot so often, while bouncers in countries like Canada and England choose not to get shot?
I don't get it. If I were a bouncer, I would not choose to get shot.

I see several recent incidents:
"Beaufort bouncer shot in back during fight"
"Harrisburg Bouncer Shot Trying to Break up Fight"
And so on.
It's really not that many, but you're only going to hear the bad stuff of the news. My dad's been a bouncer for over 22 years. No one he's worked with has ever been shot.
And they don't choose to get shot. Sometimes things are just out of their control and they can't fix the situation quick enough. It's a risk that comes with the job.
