Are David and Judy infected in The Crazies?
I have general questions about this movie.
1. Are David and Judy infected? Especially David as he had blood/blood contact with one of them =(
2. Why is all of the towns communication systems down? There didn't really seem to be a cause for it...
3. Is the neighboring town (Cedar Rapids) already infected as well or does it get infected/put on the radar because Judy and David are going there?
I realize there may not be definitive answers to these questions (I feel like the communication thing is especially a plot hole) but if you have an opinion or know something I don't feel free to post!
1. One of them is definitely infected but it is never clear which. You know one is infected because it spreads to the city the escaped to. Most likely it was David.
2. It is implied that the government cut the power lines and blocked satellite access to the area.
3. It gets infected by David and Judy Cedar Rapids did not get it's water from the contaminated water supply.
