what to look for at a garage sell?
okay, im young and am trying to earn cash (independently) for my parents gift. i keep seeing "resellers" "pawn stores" and "pickers" buying and selling, and recently i bought a 95$ antique humpback shipping trunk at a garage sale, and found it out to be appraised at 3,800-4,000$. im am wondering what i should buy that has value??? i already know, antique chests, pedal cars, tin toys, and old toys have value. ALSO what era (year) baseball cards are valuable?!?!!? because i heard 1986-1990 or so is the "junk era' where cards were mass produced and have no value so if there is box of cards from 1986-modern day dont buy it??? and would that make it so any cards before 1986 are valuable and should be bought?????? I'm not really sure what to look for at a garage sale, but I do know that you don't want any baseball cards younger than the late 70's. Also, keep an eye out for rookie cards of well-known players. What you might want to do is find the model name of anything you see at a garage sale and then research it online. Find out how many were made and how old it is.
