How do I keep fine glitter design from flaking off formal dress?
We bought a formal dress whose label reads: "Self 100% polyester, contrast & lining 100% polyester exclusive of decoration, hand wash separately, cold water, lay to dry, no bleach, cool iron." The decoration is a swirl pattern made up of little tiny glitter pieces. Unfortunately, the glitter keeps flaking off. Is there some way to treat the fabric to permanently adhere the glitter to the fabric without marring the appearance of the dress?
