How is plastic made and how does it stay soft? ?
How do they make soft plastic, like plastic bags or such, and keep it from turning hard. Thanks and have a blessed day.
Plastics that we use today all are polymers (i.e. obtained from polymerization of simplest alkene: ethylene)

Properties of polyethylene = tough and durable
They can easily be soften on heating and can easily remould (recycled) because they are thermoplastic polymers.
