A look at what is currently available on eBay

What should I put on my backyard fort?
I have a large yard for a California home, but it's not as large as the yards you East Coast-ers (and middle state people) have. My brother and I are going to build an airsoft/water gun fort, and maybe make another fort and put obstacles in between. Originally I wanted to construct a zip line, but my brother surprisingly said that would be too dangerous. So, what should we put? Any ideas for the obstacle course? We don't want to *buy* actual obstacle course items.
If you go to your local Hardware/Appliance store you may be able to get Large cardboard boxes for free from them. Using the inside blank box sides draw outlines on them of different things like a car, animals, and anything else YOU can think of. Cut these out with your Parents help. Attach to sticks (driven into the ground) with string or wire (punch a hole on each side of the stick for the string/wire) to the top and bottom of sticks.
These can be easy to remove abd re-use again later (for staorage).
The boxes can also be used as your forts, just cut out a window and use open end for the door.
Im Happy to hear of some kids that still play this way. Good, active playtime instead of Video games.
Tell your Parent that I applaude you (and them for raising you with good values).
