Where can I find Trai Man, known as wax apple or water apple, in Orange County?
My girlfriends sister-in-law moved here from Vietnam after marriage. She was seeing if I could find Trai Man since I live in Garden Grove where there are Vietnamese supermarkets. Wikipedia says they can be known as wax apples or water apples. I've gone to three markets and the closest I came was canned water coconuts... fail! Lol. Does anyone know where I can find them or if they're seasonal?
Edit: My gf's sis-in-law lives in Fresno, which is 4 hrs away and they don't visit OC. Bringing her along for translation would not be an option 
Take your girlfriend's sister-in-law with you and then go to the Asian market. She will find it if it is there. And if not, she can probably ask someone in Vietnamese for the answer.
